Mr. Evans founded Evans Roofing Company, Inc. in 1982. Mr. Evans is a native of California and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at California State University, Long Beach. As Founder of the company, Mr. Evans maintains high visibility in the field, making him well known throughout the property and construction industry. He frequently promotes education seminars to maintain smoother, inter-industry communication and cooperation. Through his tutelage, Evans Roofing Company, Inc. has steadily grown to become both well known and respected within the industry. Mr. Evans as an active member of his community has a special interest in being involved with many charities and public service organizations including the Xerox Community Involvement Program supporting an orphanage in Ensenada. |
TONY BARATTO | President

Tony Baratto began his career in the roofing industry working for a national roof consulting firm as a roof observer after graduating from the University of Washington. He joined Evans Roofing Company in 1986. Over the years he has managed some of the largest and highest profile projects in the state of California.
He has attended and successfully completed many post education courses, including the roof consulting program at the Roof Consultant’s Institute and has served on the executive board of the Roofing Contractors Association of Southern California.
Tony has many hobbies and interests but remains fascinated by and involved with the emerging technologies and ever changing trends in commercial roofing. |

CARL MAHURIEN | Project Manager and Repairs Supervisor

Carl has an extensive experience in roofing and has worked for Evans Roofing Company, Inc. since 1988. He is responsible for estimating and bidding repair jobs and ensuring they are completed to the scope of work. He is also in charge of the crews during periods of rain and minimizing response time emergency situations. |
SHAWN FLEISCHMANN | Superintendent and Safety Manager

Shawn has been a valuable part of the production and sales team since 1992 and has functioned as both the Superintendent and Safety Manager since 1996. He is responsible for setting up and maintaining all projects including pre-job and final meetings, working with roofing consultants and city inspectors. He has excellent communication skills when interfacing with property managers, owners, and consulting companies. Shawn is also responsible for hiring, training, and managing a large staff that is equipped to respond within 24 hours for emergencies. Shawn also maintains the vehicles and coordinates BIT inspections. Shawn is always on time, ready with a backup plan, and strives to please the customer. He is a natural-born leader and loves the challenge of making your roofing experience a pleasant one. |
LORENA BURCIAGA | Accounting/Accounts Payable

Lorena has been with Evans Roofing over four years. After attending the Naval Reserve Officers Training Program, Lorena attended Cal State Fullerton and The University of Irvine to obtain a degree in accounting/computer sciences. She has been instrumental in managing our accounting department, our bonding/warranty and insurance programs and the day-to-day operations of our office.
Our Tech department’s up-to-date presence is directly attributable to Lorena’s tireless research and implementation of current accounting and computer technology.
What can we say? Lorena’s passion outside of Evans Roofing is her wonderful- precious- snuggly dogs: Peaches, Gizmo, Dolly and Peewee. Oh, we mustn’t forget her fuzzy bunny, Lucyfur. |
